24 Sep The Story Behind My Logo
Have you seen my logo? It’s the healing hands holding a heart.

The Story of my Logo
Many people have asked how I came up with it. Let me tell you The Story of my Logo, which was painted by my friend, Lizi Hill.
When I created Palmy Healing, I knew that healing the heart is the key to healing everything. Palmy is my surname, my maiden name, the name I went back to after my divorce.
I’d been learning about self-acceptance and self-love since my marriage broke up at the end of 2008. I knew how important self-love was.
I also knew that only an open heart – a heart back in the flow of love – can heal. Once you are back in the flow of love with a beautiful open heart, your body can start healing too.
“If you have anything in your heart other than love, you’ve got to get it out.” —Wayne Dyer
I am a heart-based person – very much so. It might come with being an Empath. I love everything heart based. I even use the <3 (Heart Emoticon) a lot on Facebook.
So, the heart is the center of my being. I love a vibrating heart, full of love and in the flow.
The hands are very healing. During my Pranic Healing Training, I learnt all about the hand chakras, and how to cleanse and apply healing coloured Prana (called Chi in Chinese).
Also after going back to my maiden name I realized I had the word palm in my maiden name Palmy, so that was a clear sign from the Universe for me to use that word as a part of my business’s name.
I love to hug people and cradle animals. Small animals can be cradled in the palm of our hands. Hugs are so healing and so heartwarming.
When I closed my eyes and meditated on the name of my business, I saw my hands gently cradling the hearts of my clients and sending the healing green light associated with Archangel Raphael to my clients. I remembered how my hands vibrated with the loving healing energy from Archangel Raphael when he showed me how to assist my coughing daughter.
I knew the heart used in my logo should be bright, pulsating, and pink (one of my favorite colours) and the hands should spread loving greenish turquoise healing light and love.
I did a sketch of what I wanted, but I am not much of an artist. My daughter had no time to paint the picture, as she is busy with school, so I asked my lovely friend Lizi.
Lizi and I met in 2005 when she moved to Switzerland, and we had such a fabulous time together. Nowadays, she lives on Jersey Island, but with Skype, it is like she lives next door.

She was happy to do my logo for me, as she is also an angel lover and a gifted artist. For me, it was important that the person who drew my logo understood energies, was in the flow, and loved art and my work.
Lizi asked me to take a picture of my hands, holding them like I wanted to see on the logo, so she could paint from that photo.
What a brilliant idea! The hands you see on my logo are mine, beautifully painted by my friend, Lizi.
She also chose some special watercolour ink colours, so they would be shinier.
It took us a little back and forth to settle on the end picture. She had her ideas, I had my ideas, and we found some good common ground.
Visions we shared about the logo were: making the green energy flow to the heart, coming out of the palms of my hand and having the heart seem like it was pulsating in the healing flow.
Lizi used salt to dry the colour, so it really got the look as it if was pulsating.
Finally, the logo was ready. I was thrilled with it, and best of all, Lizi gifted me the original for my birthday! She gave it to me in a nice frame, ready to be hung in my studio. (If you ever watched one of my videos or Periscope sessions, you’ve probably seen the original hanging behind me.)
This was my side of the story, now I let Lizi share hers:

Thank you Caroline for your beautiful introduction.
Most of all I love creating for a purpose and it was such a privilege to design your logo with you. The whole image was also beautiful when it was inverted as I had ideas for green healing colours looking at the colours seen in crystals. I am delighted that the hands on your logo are truly yours.

Drawing is something I do from my heart and soul. Everything I create is done with passion and love. Most recently I’ve been welding stainless steel to create an installation called ‘A still point in a turning world’. It was recently hung next to Damien Hirst’s work in an international gallery. I love drawing with pencil, paint, light, porcelain and metal.

I hope you enjoyed the behind the scenes story of my logo, what it means, and how it came to be.
“Love and Healing” is my motto.
Wishing you all a beautiful week filled with love.
Be in the flow.
Warm hugs,
Caroline
PS: Next week, I will share my personal story on how fear has struck again, and what has helped me.
I hold a Bi-lingual Workshop in Adliswil near Zurich next week.
